 YOUR ACTION IS NEEDED NOW!

Expanded Transfer of Development Rights Program including Structure Size Thresholds
February 20
, 2008, 5:30 PM

Boulder County Board of County Commissioners, Public Hearing
Third Floor Hearing Room, Boulder County Courthouse
1325 Pearl Street, Boulder County

The Boulder County Board of County Commissioners’ May 6th public meeting on docket DC 05-002H, Expanded Transfer of Development Rights program has been postponed. Staff is currently looking for a date to hold this public meeting later in the month of May.
As soon as this meeting is rescheduled, notices of that meeting date and time will be sent via e-mail, list serv, and posted on the Boulder County Land Use Department website.

If you have questions, please contact Michelle Krezek at either Mkrezek@bouldercounty.org  or at 720 564-2623.

WHAT YOU CAN DO:

  • Call, e-mail, fax, and/or send letters to the Commissioners recommending that they:
    -  Table the house size limitations and TDR proposals until concrete data is provided (see our letter)
that establishes why these items even belong in the Sustainability plan or the land use code
    -  Short of taking immediate action to table these proposals, insist that they establish a
citizens and professionals advisory panel to study the economics and logistics of their proposal
  • Attend the Hearings
  • Help us in our efforts - The LUC needs volunteers and donations to help get the word out. Send us an e-mail - contactus@landusecoalition.org - to sign up for e-mail alerts on this issue and indicate if you have time to volunteer.
Become a member of the LUC for only $30 and we will keep you updated on all Boulder County land use issues and events throughout the year.
Come to our meetings the first Wednesday of every month at 5:30 PM at the Olive Garden on 28th and Pearl in Boulder.
